I pulled one of my favourite t-shirts out of the closet this morning. It has Mickey Mouse on it. Every time I wear it, for some reason I feel good. Walt Disney and what he left behind for us is truly a story of entrepreneurial success.
This leads into a book I am reading called The Prime Movers. In the book the author talks about great business leaders like Steve Jobs and Walt Disney. What did they have? They were great visionaries. They were also able to get their teams to buy into this vision of the future. By doing so, they transitioned their companies. These companies are thriving long after these visionary leaders have ceased to be involved.
This begs the question, “Why don’t you have a vision for your business?” The formula is simple. Vision=Success=Transition.
How can a mouse represent such a great company?
