Another year has passed and, like everyone else, I get to reflect on what has happened, what will happen and what could happen. All I know for sure is it will involve me.

I was leafing through some of my journals, and I found a couple Dan Sullivan quotes that seemed appropriate:

     “My sole purpose in life is to be useful”; and

      “It’s not about competition and comparison, it's about contribution.”

So, I will be on a journey this year to follow my dad’s great advice. “Put back more than you take.”
